Welcome To
AMMA SOCIAL WELFARE ASSOCIATION
Amma - such a sweet word and is a part of every human life… We started this welfare association to serve the people who are in need like as a mother who serves her child.
Thanks for you kind hearted decision to join in this group. You have taken a very good decision. To serve the people is nothing but serving god. We will work together in this regard.
We have started this group on 27th April, 08, to serve the poor and needy in any manner. As we are in initial stages, we are slowly moving step by step in order to expand ourselves to serve better. At the very initial stage we were a team of 15 members and within a very short span, as on today, have risen to 120+ sharing shoulders. We also associate with Birds Of Same Feathers, Viswa Manvata Samstha, Nenunnanu, Ayesha Foundation, To-Make-A-Difference, Balarakshak, Vitharana, Spoorthi Charitable Trust, Spoorthi Foundation, Veluguri Foundation, Lending Hands, Hands To Support, National Sarvodaya Movement, Akshara Foundation, First-Ray Foundation.
The main objective of this association is to take the education to every door step and inject or inculcate human values. For this presently we are visiting slum areas and orphanages, where the living style is entirely different and where awareness about cleanliness, education ad hygiene is very less. We visit weekly /monthly in a regular basis to create awareness about all these. We also are extending our financial support to the poor and needy students.
Our Objectives:
• Ultimate aim is to serve the people of any kind in any manner- Orphans, Old age, Mentally and physically challenged, Blind, Poor and needy.
• Providing financial support to the poor and orphan students.
• Providing financial support for poor patients.
• Blood donation, Eye donation.
• Visiting Orphanage, Old age Homes regularly and Spent some time with them.
• Motivating the people to serve others.
• Increase the self confidence in all kinds of people.
• Sharing the joy, happiness and everything we have with the Unwanted, Unloved and Uncared people and caring them.
• Collection of unused clothes and donating the same to needy.
• Any other service related activities suggested by our members.
Finally I am assuring you that we will lend our hand in a very good manner in coming years as a group and we definitely change this society up to some extent. As you know “Every thing starts from one i.e. you... Your suggestions and co-operation is always necessary in this regard.We are doing only this because of “To do something to others is not a social service it is our social responsibility”.
I will come up with every update of our activity. We are deadly in need of Timely support/services, if you have the time please come forward and spend your time to transform the life of a student
